Outback Patrol Prayer for 2016

"Of this church, I was made a minister according to the stewardship from God bestowed on me for your benefit, so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God, that is, the mystery which has been hidden from the past ages and generations, but has now been manifested to His saints, to whom God willed to make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory" (Colossians 1:25-27).

Praise the Lord that some remote towns and schools booked for evangelist visits, (from 2015), with the eager zealous few determined others hear of Christ's love, too.

Steve Ward and Garry Reynolds passion to return to far North Queensland remote places, which are rarely reached by outside evangelists. Pray for the right people and the right time and the right plane to do it.

"The air up there in the clouds is very pure and fine, bracing and delicious. And why shouldn't it be? —it is the same the angels breathe."

Grateful that Quizworx, GoodNews and pilots with exact dates to go.  Other evangelists juggling dates to book from April and May ... on ...  to November and December.

Pleasant and helpful surprise that Steve Ward was issued with CASA's airmen's annual medical when thought it would not be approved.  No reason to be denied, but for slow bureaucracy.  Good for another year of piloting. He also manages the volunteer pilots, too....

"Man must rise above the earth—to the top of the atmosphere and beyond—for only thus will he fully understand the world in which he lives."

The Lindsay Ginn family of evangelists are assisting Naida Kubert with content for the Explorers Magazine daily readings and p4. Challenge in Perth create layout and print.  Pray for ministry in small churches in regional townships. Ginns hope to fly a patrol to remote towns midyear. Google lindsayginnmusic....

That God will raise up rope holders; skilled managers to book an itinerary of schools and towns for evangelists to undertake. Takes patience and tenacity to hold on and adjust to local needs....

Les Nixon in long recovery from November major scalp Melanoma surgery. Thankful for Martha's tender care, and the support of praying friends.

A general prayer each day for families in faraway remote townships inland, out of touch with any church, missionary or evangelist. Thousands. Isolated but not immune.  Google outback patrol.com.au.

Explorers Magazine each month is read in hundreds of small school rooms as resource material—for overworked and lonely teachers. Long time high level of acceptance.  Always contains the Gospel....  Reach more than you think with a drop of ink....

We also need your financial support to maintain the regularity of volunteer planes avgas and insurance—to carry the evangelist there and back.  One a month is saturation; just enough to remind them of Jesus Love, and to draw the net, and teach the new believers.

Grateful to God for the kindness of plane owners who volunteer their Saratoga or C210 to fly a patrol for a week....

Add to your prayer a handful of other pastors and missionaries who tackle the deserts and vast distances inland to engage the few families who live in remote townships, too small for a church. Grace, Ginn, Cavill, Jackson and Dillon.

Thankful for the weekly Outback Phone Church, Sunday's at 8.30am. Begun by Trevor Mears in Toowoomba and Les Nixon, in the 1970s.  Covers dozens of remote homestead families across three vast states half the size of Europe. Conference phone account offered by SU.

Aviation work of MAF and similar, in the far north. Conveying doctors, missionaries and cargo. Fellow servants ... for Christ's sake….

"The natural function of the wing is to soar upwards and carry that which is heavy up to the place where angels dwell. More than any other thing that pertains to the body it partakes of the nature of the divine."

Special prayer that God will raise up young evangelists to join the team and tackle a week of flying, and school classes to a dozen different towns—and with 20 hours of flying.
